I got this recipe from my sister Tricia a few years ago, and this has now become my favorite salad. My family loves it.
Dressing
2T Sesame seeds
1T Poppy Seeds
1T Minced Onion
1/4 t Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 t Paprika
1/2 C Olive Oil
1/2 C Sugar
1/4 C Distilled White Vinegar
Salad
10 oz. bag of baby spinach (I usually use 2 bundles of fresh spinach)
1 qt. sliced strawberries (I like to add more)
1/2 of a small bag of sliced almonds (again, I add more)
Whisk sesame seeds, poppy seeds, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, olive oil, sugar and vinegar in a small mixing bowl. Chill for 1 hour.
Combine spinach, sliced strawberries & sliced almonds in a salad bowl.
Mix in salad dressing. Toss & refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving.
